Crushable

It's weird how objectively, there are more girls in the class who are crushable than the crushable guys. This is probably true in other classes too.

Maybe it's attractiveness, having to do with guys' on average worse lookingness. Appearances definitely play a part. There's also the fact that girls hit puberty earlier while guys are hitting it now, some still being too inadequately developed to be crush material.
But gender prominence also has a role in determining whether one is crushable or not. Puberty has an effect further than empirical appearances. Girl have more to flaunt at this age, and that contributes to gender prominence, while also activating guys' sexual drives, associating those girls with common stereotypes, and then sex. Love is nature's way of fooling us to reproduce, that's a definition on urbandictionary. There is also the effect that has on girls, who will learn to use looks to their advantage and adopt a personality to suit their outers.

Another product of gender prominence is displaying sexuality. This is not that uncommon for girls, they could twirl their hair with a finger, look up at a guy through their hair, flutter their eyelashes, place their hands on their hips, have their lips slightly open and sexual looking to resemble a vagina. There are more, most of which revolve around hair. Long hair is strategic for girls; and they employ those techniques of body language to say without moving their lips that they're sexually active, or something synonymous.
For guys, there's not much they could pull off, considering how they tend to be either shuffling and awkward or loud and brash. Either way, most lack confidence, the confidence girls get from their beauty, both the kind where they just know they look great in their clothes, and the kind where they 'cam-whore' and receive compliments-a lot of compliments. Some of which are on the edge of SEX, like I'd tap that, or you look sexy, and while those slightly extreme compliments become the norm, the next generation of compliments will try to outdo the last. The girl will get reassurance, and her behavior may at times edge on sex and guys will notice and take this into account.

Guys are not as sexually comfortable, standing with their feet far apart, or lying back while on a chair while moving your legs back and forth, far apart and close together. It sounds weird written. They also could tuck their thumbs in belt loops on their pants, or put their hands in their pockets in a similar area to where belt loops would be. Anyway, basically drawing attention to the penis. Most guys at this age don't use those techniques -only one guy in our class does, so they compensate for that by being wrong all the time. But some can also be funny. Many girls like guys who are funny and extroverted, because of stereotypes, tradition and chinese culture telling them they are the waiters and the guys, the initiators. You'd notice how the chinese girls who aren't "white-washed" are rather introverted and not gender prominent. Some of them are quite pretty, but 'being pretty and introverted basically means nothing' (~Jessie).
And you know what that means (the relationship between the race you act like and your crushability and race you act like and gender prominence.) !!

There is more to consider. A girl's reproductive value depends on beauty, and again, girls are more beautiful. Men's on wealth, power, and status. Of course I don't think the men thing applies to us directly.
But wealth power and status lead you to think of someone, well, powerful, confident, maybe even a bit egotistic. But a girl would also want the guy to be good in bed, so he must be sexually comfortable, which brings us back to the last last paragraph.

Using evolutionary psychology and uncommon sense, a crush (as in NOT legit love) can be dissected to the point where it makes sense. In theory, at least.
