To tell someone they're good looking

'You have such high-quality genes!"

Beauty is health, genetically and evolutionaryly. Beautiful people have better genes, hence why they are so desired.

"You're more likely to have daughters!"

Beautiful people are also more likely to have daughters. This is because a man's reproductive chances rely on his power, status, and wealth. Women's reproductive chances rely on youth and physical attractiveness. While beautiful people do better in general, the sexes do it in different ways. In the long term, a man's power, status and wealth become of greater importance. Good-looking-ness contributes more to women's success sex-wise. This is way beautiful people are 36% more likely to have daughters, their hgih-quality genes will be put to good use in a girl. This also explains why women are universally more attractive than men.

To tell a guy he's ugly

"You'd make a good dad!"

There are two stratergies for men to carry on their genes. One, the 'dad' way and the other the 'cad' way. 'Dads are males willing to invest in one woman and her children long term, 'cads' are those who seek cheap thrills for the night and probably will desert the girl after sex. This create a large number of short term mates without investing in any resulting offspring. Both of them, of course, want to have sex.
But women are the ones who call the shots; they are more likely to excessively try to find handsome men to mate with short term for their superior genes. Therefore, handsome men have tons of opportunities to sleep with tons of women. They are able to pursue the 'cad' stratergy. Ugly men have no choice. Their only way of achieving reproductive success is being a good 'dad', and a committed partner.

To tell a girl she's developed puberty-wise

"You're ahead of the evolutionary race!"

Girls who go through puberty earlier than average are at the same time, more likely to get divorced and be more promiscious. They pass on their genes to their daughters who in turn experience puberty earlier with the side effects as well. This is especially true for girls whose parents are divorced. From their father's absense, these girls learn they cannot rely on men, so they adopt a short-term, no investment strategy for reproduction. The biological reaction prepares the body.

To tell a girl she's undeveloped puberty-wise

"You're less likely to get divorced!"

Girls whose parents are not divorced learn the opposite lesson, so they tend to be restrained and have long-term committment in their relationships,thus less likely to get divorced. So the body slows down the puberty process.
