Thoughts

"Don't sweat the small stuff"

The problem is that it's all small stuff.

Sometimes people will say 'the world is not fair', or something along the lines of it, like 'the world doesn't care about you', or 'it's you and me against the world'
This isn't true. We are the world. We are the children. It's a choice we're making...to be part of something you already were. The world isn't everyone else. You're a part of this world. You have friends and family who care about you who are also the world. The world and society shouldn't be slandered as cold and apathetic.

"The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it."
It can be confusing how the word 'life' is ambiguous. You can mean life scientifically, or in the context of all those quotes which go like "to live is the rarest thing', and "everyone dies but not everyone lives'. Strangely enough no one cared to define this thing called living.  Maybe they were too preoccupied with being deep. Anyway, to live technically is to fulfil your basic needs. Most of us (and by us I mean the lucky people who can afford it) are capable of doing that, so why do we want to reach a 'higher level' of living? Leave it to humans to want what they can't have.

Also, that is not necessarily a tragedy. Maybe the tragedy is actually being evolved enough to have that desire to 'live'; to be aware of it. Of course, we'd be much happier if we didn't know. Maybe the tragedy is being aware that we're aware.
